NO! Chihuahua's are great little dogs. They have great little personalities. They do tend to be protective of their owners, and they think they can take on the world....... But properly trained they great and they are not mean.

Chihuahuas are the best breed ever. I have owned them for over 30 yr and have been breeding them for 9 and I have never owned a mean chihuahua. I would not own a mean dog of any breed. Some people thing it is cute to train a tiny dog like a chi to be a "killer". Truthfully tho if you were bitten by a dog, would you rather it be a pit bull or a chihuahua?

OH NO! Chihuahua's are not mean, they are great little dogs, their personalities are very loving and they are very protective of their owners, Besides people make their dogs mean if they have a mean one. I doubt it very seriously.
Mine thinks she can take on the whole world and anyone in it. HA HA
You do need to spend a lot of time with them, you need to train him or her. Go out on walks with him or her. Have fun. I would not have any other kind of dog. She is my heart. Oh Hydie says HI

no thats not true i have a had chihuhahua unfortunately he passed away around 2 years ago and he was a great dog never showed any signs of aggresion only towards cats lol, my friend currently has a chihuahua nasty dog very possesive and rude but its my friends fault his dog turned out like that how some1 dogs turns out is always cuz of the owner, unless their past owner abused their dog and then gave it away 2 sum1 else then that a little diff, hope this helps

No not all are. Most small dogs are spoiled cause people find them to be like little babies. That's when any dog can become mean. Every dog has their own personality. But owners can influence what kind. If you are the "top dog" your dog will most likely be calm, gentle and obedient. If you spoil your dog they start to think they are the boss and they usually won't let anyone get near the owners who spoil them and usually don't like outsiders.

No dog is mean by breed. It's the owner's fault if the poor little puppy is mean. If you want to buy a chihuahua, then you buy it and show people that chihuahuas aren't mean if they are trained right.

No chihuahuas are not bad dogs. People need to train them properly. All dogs need to be socialized and trained to accept strangers and strange dogs.
They are not mean if you train them and socialize them. They are very cute little dogs.
