to fall out of love with someone than to fall in love with them?

i think the problem is when we break up with someone we always remember the good times and why we fell in love with them in the first place, we never remember all the crap and hurt they've caused!
the best thing is to write down all the things you hate about them to remind yourself of why the break up was such a good move!

Falling out of love forces you to be separated from someone who has touched your heart in a special way. It makes you realize that you can't have what you thought was the perfect relationship with this person. Falling into love is a gradual process that happens over time. Once you are there the reversal doesn't happen over night. It takes time to find other things to fill that time and give you something as rewarding to look forward to. There's plenty out there, including other people who can make you feel that way again. Wish the person well and move on to something else to focus on and be a happy person and that will attract all types to people to you. One of those may be your soul mate.................

Because when you are falling, you are moving, usually, too fast. Falling in love is so cool it makes it worth it just to see if "this is the one". So many hopes in mind....falling out of love. Whole damn change of direction and altitude. Not only are you spinning from the loss, but you are grieving not being able to discuss it wit the one who understands the situation. Who to share all those wonderful memories with?...kinda like being the only guy left in the boat. I'm sorry this thing happened to you, but I am glad it's over. Your heart wants to hold on to the very last shred of hope that the person you so deeply loved will look at you and tell you everything will be just fine. You fall in love easily because you want to and have a hard time letting that feeling go when it is over. No one wants to let go of something that makes them feel so good. If you felt like crap it would be easy, but then you were never really in love to begin with.

i think its harder to fall out of love because you never really fall totally out of love.
you can fall in love with someone everything seems right
when it comes time to fall out of love you dont want to let go of what you had so its a lot harder

when you fall in love you learn so much about the person you are with and you do things together that give you forever memories of you together because you never had these when you fell in love you have so much to let go of to fall out of love all those good memories and even the not so good have a part to play i,e those annoying habits that you hated snotty tissues on the table toilet seat up/down you just want the tissues back on the table that toilet seat up etc the reason its harder its because you dont want to fall out of love with the person your in love with even if you have no choice! if that makes sense! lol x its always harder to let go of something that you want to hold onto! x

well stickman its an emotional thing that penetrates deep in our hearts u fell in love with that person b/cos u obviously liked the way they were and how u were with them as a person when ur in love with some1 u tend to have a connection or bond with them and most of the time they make u feel safe or contented,but when u separate once that bond/connection is formed its harder to lose or forget depending on how or why u separated hence harder to fall out of love,ever1 is different but for me that is how it is,i don't know if its the same with u.

you cant help falling in love, but you cant accept falling out of it an losing the feelings and good times and everything you work as a couple for.

Its harder to fall out of love becasue you at one point really cared about the person. When you fall i nlove it's not as hard becasue it's new and young. Love in what everyone wants so they look for it. Falling out of love is waht we try to not find. Like it's easier to eat a cake then to run it off.
