We either get burned, become wormfood or donate our bodies to science, that is what I will be doing
I believe your consiousness probably just stops. But people have trouble imagining that. It is also possible that something indescribable happens to it as whatever your consciouness is dissipates.

Nobody goes anywhere when they die. When the brain (which is what makes you who you are ) dies, you cease to exist and what is left is a corpse.
