Hi, I am getting married in 6 weeks and want to loose about 9 pounds. I am not very good at dieting, i tend to do alot of snacking and cannot stop myself from doing so. I do not like going to a gym, but do not mind doing exercises at home, although i do not have any exercise equipment. Please can someone give me any tips?

Watch your snacking. That's the best advice. I'm on weight watchers, I just dropped 30 pounds in a month. The first 10 of that happened in 2 weeks! So... stop snacking and watch your portions. When you're hungry for a snack snack on greens. Broccoli, lettuce, spinich, and make sure you're getting your full amount of water in. Water can make you feel full so it's a safe food to fill up on! Good luck!

If you don't seem to be on therapy to your thyroid you have got to be. If you're then it demands to be converted. Stuffing your self and ravenous your self will reduce to rubble your metabolism and make you achieve weight (sure, ravenous your self will long run make you achieve). You have got to have steady foods. A well method is to have 6 small foods/snacks as an alternative of three enormous ones, as this offers the metabolism extra of a spice up. Make certain you prefer healthful meals, no longer too many stodgy matters like bread or potato or pasta. On most sensible of that endeavor a minimum of half-hour on a minimum of three days every week. Do all that and also you WILL drop a few pounds. If you do not lose any doing this then you definately have got to cross to the medical professionals.

well, 9 lbs is not a lot to loose but pretty hard to get rid of. my advice: continue snacking throughout the day. just make sure they're lower calorie, healthy snacks. a small amt of mixed nuts is pretty filling and healthy. dried prunes are a good little snack for a sugar fix. as far as working out, if u have "exercise tv" on demand, u should look into it. it's full of different types of workouts u can do at home, everything from cardio routines to toning workouts. good luck!

Yeah, how about this:

Diet + cardio

Thats the only way, no ways around it, 9 pounds is nothing, 9 pounds can be lost in 3 weeks safely and easily with a balanced but reduced calorie diet and excercise.

For a quick fix just before a wedding, try low (or no) carb. It won't stay off for a long time but it help you lose weight quickly before the big day.

A good cardio/leg exercise to do at home is running up and down your stairs. It feels a little silly but your legs really will feel it if you do it for 20 minutes.

Good luck!

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Since you don't have any equipment, I recommend you get some Ty-Bo tapes and get to work. Billy Blanks will get you tight in 6 weeks.
