Will you be disappointed when you die and find out it is real?

If there is no Heaven I will just rot in the ground with the rest of the world =) But I'm not really worried about it.

If I die a christian and find out there is no heaven, what have I lost? I've lived a good life as a good and moral person. But if you die and find out there is a hell? Well, I'll take my chances with heaven and wish you all the best with hell.

There is a zero probability of that happening. On the other hand there is a 100% chance that atheists will be more then a little disappointed, that there is a judge of all the universe.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I think that most people here totally missed your point. You are stating a hypothetical situation, and trying to get some genuine answers. I think it would be great if there was a brief moment after death, in which we would be given answers such as that which you propose. I'm pretty sure that heaven is a myth, so I won't be the least bit surprised. Best wishes.

No and i agree with Cheryl , Brian, and Texas Hair. My great-grandfather dissed the idea 4 a minute heaven wasn't real and all....... He got the shock of his life when he saw and felt hell fire in his bedroom early one morning before sun-up. There was alot of prayer going on for him, he accepted Jesus as his personal Savior after that. I pray for you friend! You will be the one disappointed I'm afraid. God Bless and Peace to you!

I can just imagine the look on your face when you typed this question. You were probably smiling and thinking about just how many Christian's you were going to upset over it, weren't you? Well guess what? You did upset us, because now we're saddened by the fact that you will not join us in Heaven when you die. Please except Jesus now while you still can? If you don't, then you will be very disappointed when he comes back, and takes his true followers with him and your stuck here wishing you had excepted him.

As an atheist, it occurs to me that Christians will not be disappointed after they die... because disappointment is an emotion that, as such, only living beings are capable of feeling. The dead are dead and do not possess consciousness, much less emotion.

When I die and there's no heaven, I'll just be dust in the ground and wont care. You however, if you are wrong, will you be disappointed?. I like my odds alot better.

I'm sorry, dear. I'm an Atheist, but I've still got to ask: How exactly does that work? If they're wrong, they simply die. Without an existance, they're not around to be disappointed.

Dear Bi,

Will you be disappointed when you find out that it is real? Will you be angry that you hung out with the wrong people because youthought they were "cool?" Will you curse the day that you were born and say to yourself, "Why didn't I just pick up the Bible and read it myself?"

The Bible states, "Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools."
