See I've been liking this girl for a while and i couldn't get to talk to her, and then one day i approached her and started talking to her and things went nicely. On another day i walk her home and ask her on a date at her door and ask for her number, she said yes and gave me her number. I follow the 2-day rule and called her today, and she didn't answer, so i thought she was mad at me for not calling so i left a message," I'm sorry for not calling, its not like i dont like you, its just that i was shy..." Big mistake? So then i get a call back and shes saying that i misunderstood her and says she just wants to be friends? I got a date with her tommorrow and she says she just wants to be friends. Need help im really confused and i don't know what to do. I really like her and i want a relationship with her, so give me good advice. Thanks

Hey dude, no point forcing her if she only treats you like a firend. Move on if you do not want to get hurt. Wait if you think you can change her feelings and thoughts towards you for a better. But i just wana say that.. The longer you wait, the more hurt you will get. Being friends with her isnt that bad too. At least you can confide to her, go out chit-chatting, movies or lunch with her, right? Good luck! =)

Take it easy....Don't be in such a rush. The girl may not be on the look for a lifetime commitment right off the bat. Many long lasting friendships eventually develop into more. Just relax. It's better to start out on a friendly basis and who knows?

If she wants to be friends, just be friends. Wear her down. Just keep getting closer and closer until you think she really likes you. Then just ask her out. If she says yes, you get what you wanted. But if she says "no I already told you that I am not going to date you", just forget about it and continue to be friends. What's worse if she says "NO and then dumps you. Then you'll have to find a new girlfriend.

lets see: i think that from the biggining she didn't wanted to get out with u.. it was just like friend stuf. now, the message thing was a bad idea , u should've called her to say that.. u couldn't call her right the. then, if she doesn't like u, and u wanna get out with her, u can investaget aout things that she likes, wants or agree with. then u can do those things around her .. like impressing.. maybe it will work.

If she says that she wants to be friends with you, then just be friends, and soon, maybe she'll change.
At least your friends. Just think, now, you guys are friends, and at least you're friends. If you ask for more, you guys might not even be friends at all!
Be happy of what you have.

Two day rule? Please.

As for a relationship with her, you should not pursue this since she has been clear with you that she does not want that.

Time to move along.

And don't "be friends" with her hoping to change her feelings - it's dishonest to her about what your agenda really is.

Just get to know her better, she may be shy too. Maybe that's why she says she wants to be friends. Give her time to get to know you too, and give her a little space. You have to be friends first.
