I believe that they "believe" that they are the true religionists and others are the heretics? Actually, if you are basing your use of the word heretical on your view that they are ALL full of sh*t, then i'll absolutely go along with that.
Never have so relatively few psychopaths--the "elite" among the hierarchies--wielded so much power and gathered so much wealth--and conned so many nitwits, in the history of the species, at least over the last 2K years. What a joke, eh? :)) Most went from "selling used cars" directly to the pulpit. And, as for "the pope"--directly from the SS and molesting cute boys, to "stardom" :))

Why do you think you have the God given right to judge.
If you really want to understand this then do some research. Learn something. You can't really think you are gonna learn jack squat from the Yahoo yahoo's can you?
There are many historical and traditional reasons for the use of these words. There is really no easy way to explain it because the whole discussion of these terms needs to be learned over time.
Catholic is a generic term. It refers to the total of Christians. Roman Catholic is the church led by the Pope. When Christians use the word catholic (small c) they are talking about the whole of the body of Christ.
If you are slamming Catholics - you are slamming all Christians.
Papist - those following the Pope
Protestants - those who broke away from the Roman Catholic faith in protest. (Calvin, Luther, et al.)
Orthodox - followers of a strict code of worship and faith. There are orthodox pentecostals just as there are Greek Orthodox - the church of Greece that is Orthodox.
You really should study these terms, to be honest. They are not words that Christians should use as a way to judge other Christians.
