My friend's boyfriend is a military chef. When he cooks for everyone else he cooks good food, but when he cooks food for himself, he mixes weird ingredients. Like today, he made a sandwich with butter cake slices, instead of bread. He used butter cake slices with honey ham, cheese, & worcestershire sauce & mixed Sprite & milk & drunk it. Also, he would drizzle Thousand Island salad dressing over chocolate ice cream.

Would you trust him to cook food for you? Like, do you think he would sneak a weird ingredient in your food?

He certainly does have weird tastes. I guess I would trust him though; I mean if it tastes good there wouldn't be any harm. Besides that I don't like cooking at all, so if someone will cook for me, I am happy.

Well, you said that he cooks good [sic] for everyone else, so I would trust him. We all have our own funny tastes. So he has some very unusual ones, that he indulges when he likes. I don't think that's any reflection on the food he prepares for others. And who knows, he might make some weird delicious something that you never thought of before.

I would, definitely. He obviously knows his tastes are not for everyone, that is why he prepares his own food his way and makes food for others in a more conservative manner.
