Questions like this imply that Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in becoming popular, but that is simply not true. The ONLY opinions of ongoing interest to a true Witness are those of Jehovah and Christ Jesus. Those who work to ingratiate themselves with some human or human group are not doing God's will.
(1 Thessalonians 2:4) We speak, as pleasing, not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.
(Matthew 6:20,21) Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.
These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.
1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.
2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.
3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.
4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.
5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.
6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

I had a friend in school who was a Jehovah's Witness...her family was very kind to me...i remember she wasnt allowed to celebrate her birthday or Christmas or anything else and she wasnt allowed to stand up when the national anthem was playing...but it's good to learn about the many diff religions and cultures out there. We used to get Jehovah's Witnesses coming to our door alot and trying to get us to convert lol they would come all the time with their books and stuff and try to get us to read them but they were always nice to us.

love my brother and sisterhood all around the world. yes I am a sister since 1990. my best friend is Jehovah and I can talk to him any time of day or night. no busy signal and he is never to busy to listen to me. a cult worships man, we worship Jehovh and follow Jesus Christ command at Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20. learn what a cult is. jim jones, waco texas and charles manson are cult leaders. when you worship the flag which is an idol, we do stand but will not pledge because we only worship Jehovah God. we do not change anyone's religion and do not ring your bell early in the morning. not until after nine thirty

FIRST-INTEL- THAT IS NOT A REPRESENTATION OF OUR RELIGION!! THAT CAN HAPPEN IN ANY RELIGION!! (wow, for him, that turned into not that bad man, but that bad Jehovah's Witness. How ignorant!!!!)
I love them!!! Yes, I am one. In NO other religion can you find people from ALL over ther world who truly love one another. I can go to Ireland, Asia, Australia, anywhere and find a local Kingdom Hall and stay with my brothers and sisters. When we have international district conventions with visitors from other countries, It is the best feeling in the world!!!!! Seeing all the different races and cultures united as one. Only the religion that has God's Spirit can do that!!!!!!!! I'm at home with Jehovah's Witnesses and proud to represent the only true God.
To "Blessfrogs..." it was funny because you dont know the whole truth. It will be fun to teach Moses that. If you believe in Jesus being resurrected, you dont think God can resurrect Moses too? The world laughs at what is not its own!!!!
HAHAHA good one Lover of Jehovah and Jesus. I like that (not til after 930) funny, yet true!!!!!
To the others who think they have an idea about our religion-dont leave answers. Thats the problem with the world today-you want to believe what you were taught when you were 7 and not believe what you see with your own eyes!! If you want to know what we believe visit watchtower.org, not abn@whatever or truthseekers.whoknows!!!!! When you want the truth dont you go straight to the source, not to people or places that only know 1/3 of what theyre talking about (which is generally wrong too)

I would say that they mean well. I'm not Jehovah's Witness and I don't understand what they believe exactly, but I do think they have good intentions. They're just a tad misguided, in my opinion. I respect that they are dedicated to spreading what they believe...even if it does wake me up at 8:00 on Saturday mornings...

They are great people. At their own expense, they spend vast amounts of time to help people get better acquainted with what the Bible really says. "Christians" who express dislike for them show just how "Christian" they are. JW's are the ONLY ones who are obeying Jesus' words at Matt. 28:19 to "go and make disciples of people of all the nations, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you."
Churchgoers deceive themselves into thinking they are followers of Christ, even though they choose to ignore Jesus' command to preach. Instead, they go to church when they feel like it and pay a professional clergyman to do the preaching for them. Instead of acknowledging JW's compliance with Jesus' command to preach, they accuse JW's of "salvation by works."
I can only imagine how people felt about "crazy" Noah and his family before the flood came and swept them all away.
