Just come back to Mass.

You probably should go to Reconciliation before receiving the Eucharist.

Welcome back.

With love in Christ.

Welcome Back!

1. Talk it over with husband.
2. Find a Catholic Church you like near you.
3. Call and see what time the "Sacrament of Reconciliation" is ... or set appointment w/ Priest ... go to confession
4. Go to Mass and get the Eucharist. Remember, we must be spiritually clean (confess our sins) before taking the Eucharist. So, you may not have time to go to confession, but you can still go to the mass & NOT take the Eucharist.

Then explore the activities, classes (adult & childreen), and possiblilities the Church has to offer you so you can offer to others. In the fall "RCIA" classes begin so you and your husband might be able to goto that ... summer is kinda dull (less schedualed activities).

The Church doesn't keep records of who is Protestant and who is Catholic. Just walk in and pretend that nothing happened and no one will know the difference.

Hello

Just open the doors and walk in. Talk to a priest if you feel like it.
By the way the catholic church recognizes all other Christian marriages.

1)pray
2)discuss with your partner
3) to return to the catholic church you will need to enroll in the rcia classes. talk to the parish priest about what it entails and when you can join. most parishes will allow your husband to accompany you for support or to see what is going on, this is an option but ask permission ofcourse. if it isn't for you then you can drop out of the classes, hopefully you don't :-)

the classes basicly go through the key elements of the faith, such as the seven sacraments etc.........hope this helped and god bless.

Talk to a priest you feel comfortable with or your friends recommend. He may ask you to join the RCIA or he may give you private instructions. He will also ask you about the possibility of having your marriage blessed by the Church. Once you do this, you will be able to receive Communion.

Confession
Was your spouse formerly married or were you? You would need a decree of nullity or annulment.
Were you married outside of the Church without dispensation? You would need to be married by a priest or deacon.

First, I would pray about it. Next,I would talk it over with your husband to see what he thinks about your wanting to return to the church. Then ask around to find the name of a good priest that you and your husband could sit down with and talk to.
