It is soda pretty much just sugar and coloring (no pork)... I guess it is Halaal if that is what you are trying to find out...

no but i found a good cake you should try made out of dew.
Mountain Dew⢠Cake
INGREDIENTS
1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, beaten
10 fluid ounces Mountain Dew â¢
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup butter
1 cup flaked coconut
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs and citrus soda. Mix until all ingredients are moistened.
Pour into prepared 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely.
To make the topping: In a saucepan, combine pineapple (with juice), sugar and corn starch. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat. Add butter and coconut. Spread topping evenly over cake.

mountain dew is also one of the names for whiskey -- moonshine in other words -- and no pork was put in it either although since corn was used to make moonshine there might have been a few wild pigs/swine/hogs that would come around the still to glean up spilled corn -- although i have heard of stills being turned over by wild hogs to get to the corn mash (just think of it PICKLE PORK ON THE HOOF)

ummmm no it doesn't if you look on the can it doesn't say anything that has to do with pork....i have heard that you could use it as a marinade before so maybe that's what you're thinking of?

uh no. If you look at the ingredients on the can you will not see pork listed as one of the ingredients.
