Jesus said, " Remember, the servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you"
( John 15:20). While Christians are in this world, we will be depised, rejected, persecuted for His sake.Think about it...Who is the greatest enemy of Jesus? The world. We are different than them. Our standards and the purpose for our existence is at war with them. Who cares if they berate us? I don't. I'm not here to make " friends." I'm here to continue being His light, regardless of the cost. If they wish to belittle my faith and call me names, let them. It only makes us stronger because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

OKAY I'll explain
Muhammad was actually shown (South Park style not Family GUY) in a previous episode called "Super Best Friends" Season 5 Episode 4

And South Park makes fun of everything, including African Americans, Jews, Christians, game players, celebrities, muslims (see the Snuke episode?, Mexicans, etc. Everyone is fair game.

The statement saying they would not show Muhammad is a way to show the type of CENSORSHIP and sensitive reaction people have that is being used today, POST- 9/11. Trey and Matt allowed it in order to show what everyone is dealing with today, not just Comedy Central.

Hey check this out, this is a true story and I can't believe it didn't make the news....

Two quarters ago in college I learned New Testament Greek (it took me only three weeks to learn) and in the next quarter the professor wanted to give a class on Hebrew. The school rejected it though, because they feared that the Muslims would demand they teach Islam or would attack the school. You may have heard about it or not, but a few months ago a Muslim shot up some Jewish convention in Seattle, which is only 60 miles away..... So the teacher was not allowed to teach Hebrew on campus.

I wanted to go before the school board and tell them, "Hey, why wont you let him teach Hebrew? If there are kids who want to learn it, why do you refuse them their education, and reject their money to learn it? Is it because you have something against the Jews, or because you fear the Muslims..... Now wait another minute, are you stereotyping the Muslims as intolerant and dangerous fanatics? I thought Islam was a religion of peace?"

Still, I would add, "So what if they want to teach Islam? I would be willing to learn Arabic and read the Qur'an in its original language, if there was a teacher willing to teach it."

This is a public secular college by the way. If it was a Christian college I could understand why it has some reservations against Judaism or Islam... but a secular college!?

Muslims are very fragile. If you poke fun at them they come blow up your house. Comedy Central knows that so they censored the Mohammed scene.

They know that Christians and Americans tolerate a wide range of views so they can poke fun at Jesus and desecrate an American flag and know that they'll still be alive in the morning to laugh about it.

Don't make fun of anyone. Give Christians reasons, not condemnation.

Because regular Muslims aren't out there trying to get their religion into American law (Terrorism I will leave out of this). You guys reap what you sow and when you put yourselves out there to get preferential treatment for Christianity or get creationism in schools then do not be surprised that you get dumped on.
