Warning in advance, I have no intentions for going on weight loss for the time being.

Yet what I've been curious about for a while is what would happen if you stop eating?
Pretend you are a plump person and you choose to go on a diet. You choose to not eat for days. Would you have a chance of getting annorexia while you're still plump or would you last until you get thin and THEN get annorexia?

:)

Starvation doesn't really work - as soon as you go past a day or so, your body goes into Starvation Mode. When this happens, your metabolism slows down to almost nothing, and eventually your body will start feeding upon itself - both fat AND muscle. The reduced metabolism will make you feel weak and tired all the time.

The second you eat anything - it is immediately turned into fat, and stored because the body feels that this is the ONLY food you are going to be getting for the next while.

when you don't eat the metabolic rate slows, which means the amount of fatty acids that are used normally for energy is decreased. starvation is the body is the exact opposite of what is needed for the body to release fat stores for use as energy.
