for starters thet is NOT heavy at all if your that with a bit of chub i suggest that instead of losing it that your turn it too muscle. im 148 and im a stick but i used to b a chubby little kid. its pretty much common sense every morning(or evening) get up and run til you can't run no more you'll prolly be tired but after a shower and LOT'S OF HYDRATION youll be best kind i suggest you get a gym membership and blast it either away with lots of reps or turn it to muscle with larger weights.
luck

So you've decided that you're going to do it.Millions have tried before you and most of them have failed miserably at reaching their weight loss and diet goals. Many people just go and hope on a diet or weight loss program without knowing exactly where they are from the start.Without knowing where you started, you won't be able to accurately gauge your progress. Not being able too see that progress put you at an extremely high risk. find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise (running, swimming, jogging, cycling, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
