Likely a modern copy of an old Colt revolver. Having said that, and without further information, you could have a desirable gun.

Check Colt Pistols in the search bar and look for black powder in that caliber. They will show if it is in the serial number range, a new model Colt Signature series or an original. The cheaper ones run about 40 bucks to 80 bucks , if they are a remake by another company, depending on condition.Colt Signature series go for much more depending on condition and original Colts go much higher yet.

If you want a broad ball park figure, but you still have to have a professional look at it, would be 40 buck to 4 thousand bucks depending on condition and make and model.
