Okay so I crossed the border yesterday as I always do every weekend and they actually gave me the interrogation, they hardly ever do that at this border crossing and usually let me go with out checking my id or anything...Anyways there were two new guys and they informed me that they can deny me entry if I have my camera with me because I am a photographer...I told them that I would get a business license in BC if I ever decided to work up there...As a photographer I take my camera with me everywhere...So my question is if I go up there to take pictures of like lets say a national park or something then come back down here and makes prints and sell them would that be doing business in Canada? I generally just take personal pictures when I am up there and have never done any work for any one up there...Secondly does any one know how I can get a business license in BC if I am not a resident or citizen...

Well they asked me my profession and I told them then they gave me that line...As far as I know as long as I am not conduction business in Canada then I don't see what is wrong with it...I have been in and out every weekend since March and never had a problem...
