Some charity shops do still take magazines - ring a local one to check their policy.

If they are specific to an interest - say fishing for example - then maybe contact a local club.

These first two options get the stuff re-used.

Other wise most councils have recycling facilities. Ours gives a blue wheelie bin for the purpose. Since we don't know where you live either ring your council (prepare for a long wait !) Or go onto their website and follow the links. This way they do get recycled and not go into landfill. Or, you could just ask in your neighbourhood what your neighbours do.

yeah thats what i was thinking all you have to do is put them out in your council recycling bin with your cardboards and the like

My daughter lives in London she has to take mags to Salisbury's has the council doesn't collect them with paper.

You can, certainly, they go in the same bin as the newsprint and other recyclable paper materials.

if if you have a garden they composted. The ink does not cause a propblem these days. put them through the shredder and chuck them in a compost bin, with other waste.
