Does not appeal to me. I would rather go on the Carnival Spirit to Glacier Bay Alaska.

I think it would be nice to do but it can be a bit pricey. I booked one for my grandma and it was nearly $2000 (and that was on sale) for the cruise, air and pre cruise hotel. Check out ncl.com, or onlinevacationcenter.com, they have some cheap Hawaiian cruises some include air.

I have been to Hawaii 5 or 6 times and seen and done all of the tourist/sightseeing things. I prefer flying there so that I have plenty of time to do things and not have to report back to a ship by a certain time.
However, since I have now seen the sights and experienced things I do plan to cruise there soon out of San Diego just so I can experience an ocean crossing. When we get there it will not matter to me whether I go on any tours. we'll probably just go to the beach and also, when we get to Maui, do the downhill bike ride.

My husband and I cruised Hawaii two weeks in May on Royal Caribbean. Cruise was great. Hawaii was extremely disappointing in our opinion. Prefer the Caribbean by a long shot. If you just love to cruise though, you would really love a two weeker.

I think I would fly to Hawaii and then cruise the islands.
Either way, it'll be fun.
