plumpy butt? Or any other words? Just mean.
Why would you joke about a person's weight? You say she's not really fat, so why try to make her feel fat?
Leave her alone. You're not acting like much of a friend if you call her names.

Friends are supposed to be caring and supportive. Why would you call your friend "plumpy butt"? Try a little self awareness to figure out why you want to insult your friends. If "everyone does it," then you have bad friends and you need to get new ones. If you're the only one who does it, then you have issues you need to deal with or else you'll eventually lose your friends.
I hope your "fat" friend learns that she doesn't have to put up with behavior like yours.

What are you talking about? You say she is not fat? What is this question about, then?
No, you can't say she has a plumpy butt and be a friend or show any consideration.
People's physical condition is not your concern unless it is your child.

The best way to help your fat friend without bringing animosity into the picture is to invite them for a walk, jog or other exercise that will cause them to lose some weight without being obvious,if you take a look around, you are bigger than someone else.If you are really concern, take heed to these words and make an effort to help your friend.

What is the point of telling your friend she's fat when she's not? It's not a funny joke, and there is no way to say it politely.

Although I feel that is in NOBODY'S business to say another person is fat......most people say that others are big boned or that they 'look good for having a baby.' I say get a life because 'fat' is a terrible word and weight is an EXTREMELY sensitive issue to many....

The only polite thing to do is to say nothing at all. It's really none of your business and bringing it up can only hurt her. A true friend would focus on who she is as a person, not what she looks like.

Fat people have mirrors. They know they are fat. My Mom's friend was at the doctor last year & he told her she needed to lose some weight. She looked down at herself, jiggled her tummy & said..."I'm fat? I never noticed! Why didn't someone tell me sooner! I'd have done something about it years ago!!"

my friend and i have an "understanding" and we call each other fat all the time even though we're not. It just depends how good of an understanding that dictates what is appropriate to say. Just be sure she knows you are joking.
But, if ur not joking/ she really is overweight (i kinda misunderstood the ? i think) , dont tell her she is fat (even if she is) She noes she is overweight and that its unhealthy and doesnt need you to tell her.

I don't believe there is a polite way to tell a person they are fat.
but some describing words are plump, chubby, has baby fat
but I would encourage you not to say any of those things to her because even if it is joking it can still hurt.
