well, we know that our tap water is below normal drinking standards. Those same standards do not apply to the bottled drinking water your buying. We can only assume that water is being treated properly. There needs to be regulations placed on the water that we're purchasing.

It depends.
In rural areas, tap water is probably lots better than bottled because of nutrients and such.
But some bottled waters have added minerals to them.
In the end, water is water, so it really doesn't matter all that much.

I drink filtered and/or bottled water. I keep hearing and reading stories about things like mercury in tap water, residue from sewage, residue from improperly flushed medicine...

water should be clean n should be free of microorganisms let it be tap or bottled water

To me it dosnt matter, although i do feel like i get more out of it if i drink bottled.
