My name's Esra. It's originally Arabic, but Esra is the Turkish version as I am Turkish.
Some knowledgable person in Arabic told me that my name means nocturnal walk. More specifically, it's the journey Prophet Mohammed took at a night to meet God. In this nocturnal journey, he got very close to God.
For this reason, in some sources my name also means secret, mysterious.
