There are some recipes in which beer is very good. But the flavors of beer and wine are so different that I'd say its not generally a good substitute. At least not without a lot of forethought. If I don't have wine handy, I'll generally substitute chicken stock with some wine vinegar. After cooking it won't taste vinegary, but the wine vinegar will pick up some of those fruity notes and provide the acidity that the wine would provide. Bon appetite!

For the chef's enjoyment, yes...whether you are drinking white wine or beer, usually doesn't matter to the outcome.
As an ingredient, the only beer that I have seen/ heard working IN PLACE of WHITE wine is Beck's beer--- for
marinating/early cooking use room-temperature Beck's.
For sauce that will be served after cooking, or when White wine is called for at the middle or end of cooking, use COLD BECK's beer.
Let us know how you make out.

Deglazing the pan needless to say provides style on your dish, besides the shown fact that this is not any longer needed. you may additionally bypass that area in case you opt for. playstation . i develop into living on my own at 17, and offered my own alcohol. yet i assume because you do no longer drink.. you will possibly no longer quite be attentive to the thank you to get it.

Depends on what you're cooking. If it's a beef dish, I say absolutely! But if you're trying to make something in a delicate white wine and saffron sauce, I would say, probably not.
