USED MOST = NIV. More people will HAVE the kjv, but don't use it. When you restrict the 'statistical population' to those who ACTUALLY USE IT, NIV seems to win pretty easily.

Almost all of those who support the kjv are uninformed about it...

Time: It misses being the FIRST complete Bible in English by close to 3 centuries. It was not even the first "authorized" version, 'The Great Bible' gets that distinction.

Accuracy: It includes THOUSANDS of DELIBERATE MISTRANSLATIONS and includes NUMEROUS passages which are not found in ANY early manuscript.

KJV is probably the most accepted. I recommend using KJV as a starting place, but using other versions to deepen your understanding of the Word of God. You can get all of the different versions to the same passage at biblegateway.com. There is no charge for this on line service.

The King James version is still the most widely used, as all the fundamentalists use it.

Most very traditional people would use the King James or New King James, but I'd say the majority uses the NIV.
