There are many ways to get that 'summer shape'!
I work-out with weights an hour a day.
Any more lifting after 1 hour provingly causes muscle breakdown and fatigue - leading to unwanted tiredness the next day. You don't want that!
Keep the exercise below an hour and try to go around 3 days in a row - take a break on the 4th day.
Push-Ups, Sit-Ups, Jope-Rope, Weights, etc...
Those are just SOME of the many available options for getting into shape at home.
Mix the exercise up with the right food and you're set to go.
Eat often and healthy! It'll keep your metabolism up and keep the fat burning!
Veggies, sandwhiches (chicken or vegetable), pasta...
There are many good foods you can choose from.
And definately treat yourselt to tasty favorites in moderation (cookies, brownies...)!
Don't forget to have fun and don't overtrain.

- go for a walk or run every morning while listening to ipod or mp3
- go on the swings at that park near your house
- skip rope outside ( really good exercise)
- buy some fun exercise DVDs like Richard Simmons, Paula Abdul cardio cheer etc . you can buy a work out DVD at wal-mart or superstore for only $12 and they are alot of fun!
- an exercise ball is great
- seventeen and cosmo girl have workouts that you could do
- volunteer at a human society and walk the dogs
- go swimming at a local pool
- get a cheap pair of Rollerblades and do that

Do you have a dog? You can take the dog for a walk. Or if you have a pool, go swimming. House work is good activity - help your parents out and spend one day a week cleaning whatever you find that needs to be cleaned (Stand up on stools to dust hard to reach areas, vacuum...you'll burn some calories doing that).. and its a good way to stay on your parents good side. go for walks on the beach, go swimming..
go on hikes with your friends. Find different trails in your area and go walking - make sure you pack plenty of water!!
Go to the zoo! Spend a day walking around the zoo instead of sitting at home doing nothing. Have you ever heard of lazer tag? We have lazer tag in my state and you have to run around and be pretty active..its a lot of fun.
Jeez. I wish i listened to myself and did some of these things!! lol..
good luck.

- jogging 30 to 40 mins four times a week.
- power walk for an hour every afternoon.
- even cleaning house will burn calories.
- crunches, push-ups, lunges.
- you could sign up for some kind of aerobic class.
