I personally hate anyone that has to speak in figuratives, UNLESS they do it in a way that makes sense. And religious people are not the ONLY ones that speak in figuratives. People from all walks of life speak in figuratives. I personally just like getting to the point.
but when Jesus spoke in figuratives He did it in such a way that anyone could understand it and it made a lot of sense. Jesus in cardiology books? why the hell would He be in there? And Jesus was not a "magic man," He was the Son of God.
Let go of your anger for just a moment, and I'd suggest reading the Book of Job in the Bible and some New Testament works, see how they relate to your own life and then come back and talk to me.
Almost everyone who doesn't believe in God hasn't given themselves the chance to know Him better. They simply take a few stupid people's attitudes towards Him and think THAT is what God is. Humans are flawed, don't trust that any human being knows God completely.

We speak in "figuratives" or parables because we are trying to explain something that you just don't get.

Why would you expect to see anything about Jesus or God in a cardiology book?

As far as I can tell, because so far He hasn't yet revealed His return. And until He does, the doubts will remain with humanity. There seem to be a lot of folks gambling on whether or not He's real. And there are others who think they know. Then there are some who really know, but don't feel the need to say so. And it is difficult to find those, since they don't want to talk about it, especially in the public: they don't wish to engage in arguments about what they already know.

Because they really know very little about their own religion. I'm not being snide here, that's my experience.

Ask an average Catholic, for example, about the doctrine of transubstantiation, the belief that the wafer and wine literally become flesh and blood once it enters their body. This cannibalistic practice is central to the Catholic faith, yet few have any idea what it means, and many claim it is symbolic - though the church claims it really happens.

Right. And I'm still looking for Proverbs 21:30 in my drivers manual.

I can't find the name "Jesus" in the Humanist Manifesto, either.

YOur not specifically mentioned in a cardiology book either. Neither am I .

Does that mean there is no evidence to support we exist?

Why do others have to make stupid questions and insulting remarks?
Is it because they are not strong enough in their confidence or convictions to stand tall without trying to put others beneath them?

Jesus suffered and died on the cross because of man's sin.

Why would He be in one? If God were a documented scientific fact, believing in Him wouldn't mean squat. The fact that we believe without seeing means everything to Him.
