Does anyone know of a toystore or toy manufacturer that sells such a thing? It cannot be made of glass, has to be very highly polished stainless steel or some other metal that cannot break but reflects a face as well as a glass mirror does.

Any ideas?

I had one once, my 3 month old loved cooing to herself under it. It had 4 holes in the corners, lots of covering over the edges. No danger in the least. I took it down when she was able to sit up.

The mirror you are describing can be found on the following website. Good luck with your search.

Maybe the reason you can't find one is because they have proven to be unsafe! I think babies/children and adults (most anyway) love looking at themselves and I am sure it would give a baby some fun times, but sounds a little dangerous to me.

If that falls, it can hurt the baby. So, while you may be able to get one with some difficulty, is it advisable?
