Contributing factors, quite possibly, though Mary Magdalene was likely his GF and he made all he needed by begging or stealing it.

More likely he was simply a fanatic - assuming, of course, he even existed and that there is some truth to the stories about him, an assumption I'm not ready to make.

Don't you think if Jesus wanted to commit suicide, he could have found an easier and less painful way of doing it than being crucified? It wasn't suicide, it was murder on the part of the Romans with many of the Jewish leaders as accomplices.

Crucifixion=someone else taking your life

HE did it because HE loved Life and believed that mankind could be saved. People who make this kind of statement questions that capability.

no...he didn't kill himself because he was fed up with his life, or any of the stupid things you mentioned. read the Bible...it will explain it much better than anyone else can.

He didn't realize it was going to be a 'permanent' solution to a 'temporary' problem. Now look at all the different wars in his name that have been created.
