Do NOT try to do some style with detail at the top/front, the cap will just mess it up and your pictures with family will look bad cuz you can't bring your purse or a brush with you on the floor of graduation, teachers tell you to leave it with your family or in the car.
I suggest, if you already have your cap/gown. Put it on, get in the mirror and see how much hair shows underneath the cap. Go for a simple style: curl the ends. If you want to look more glamorous. I'd say wear nice makeup to draw attention to your face and away from your hair since you will be wearing the cap.
No matter how you choose to wear your hair, I wish you the best with your life after school and congradulate you on finishing. Many people drop out. Enjoy your special day and savor the good moments. Don't get upset or caught up in minor details that go wrong (even if your hair doesn't cooperate with you on that day). You only get to graduate with that diploma once, ENJOY!

Okay here's how you wear it....
At the center and top of your head do a half pony tail by pulling back your center hairs.. its really hard to explain but when you have your hair up.. flip the ends of your hair w/ a curling iron by almost straightening with curling iron but right before you take it off.. turn it up so it makes a flip...

Maybe add some curl to it, if you can.. Maybe a cut updo look.
If this is a high school grad, go to a hair place and have them fix it up. If you cant do that, look on the internet for some easy cut hair styles.

I would make it bobbed almost like Rihanna's. But judging by the look from your avatar, you might need to straighten your hair :) If it's too much of a trouble to straighten it, frech braid along the side-top of your head (a big, thick braid).

honestly...if you have straight hair i'd go with a simple half pony tail. I remember with my grad all the girls didn't realize that fancy things won't work because of the caps...so something simple and down is the best. plus half up and half down is always very flattering on anybody.
