-stop using heat to style your hair
-don't brush it if it is wet
-don't use moisturizing shampoo if you have straight hair, it weighs straight hair down and makes it greasy
-wash every day or every other day
-condition only from the ears down everyday
-don't use too many styling products
-do use volumizing shampoo, it doesn't actually make your hair thicker it just doesn't make your hair greasy or weigh it down
-get your hair dyed professionally so you don't damage your hair even more

If your hair is already damaged, then I wouldn't die it yourself with tea, ideally get a professional hairdresser to do it or buy yourself a good dye. Before you do that though I'd sort out the damage, if you've used loads of heat straighteners/dryers etc. then try avoiding them for a while. They might have caused split ends, so take a trip to your hairdresser and get them cut off.

If you wash your hair every day just now, then try doing it less frequently - doing it every day can sometimes make the glands produce more grease (i think, could be wrong but i'mm sure i've heard that before). if you don't read it regularly, then try doing it more often.

Try and find some shampoos specifically for greasy hair types, and use them each time you wash your hair for a while, until it's back to normal, or maybe your hairdresser could recommend something.

But for just now, I'd leave off with the straighteners or whatever else could have damaged it, and get it in great condition before you dye it, otherwise it could just make it worse, and then move on to dyeing your hair, maybe with a good home dye or ideally at your hairdresser...i'm sure it'll look great in the end anyway.

I think that dying hair is a waste of time, and I think that you should be comfortable with your own natural hair. If it is greasy then you should try using a different shampoo, because some shampoos and conditioners can actually cause greasy hair. Try an anti-greasy shampoo, and you should put some lemon juice in your hair and let is soak in the sun. The combination of the lemon juice and the sun will lighten your hair and make it healthier too!
I hope that this information will help you.

Please don't kill your hair. Maybe you could ask your mom for help to "dye" your hair.
