In my book they are both good.
Dale Earnhardt Sr was the Driver to beat in the 80's and into the early 90's
And then Gordon took over in the mid 90's Jeff Gordon won three Championships in a four year period, and is still running strong today.

I will always support Junior, but next year it is about the Hendrick's team and what they can do to help each other. Oh don't think that Jeff and Jimmy both haven't thought about the probable loss of some of their notoriety, but that should be expect for a few weeks. Once everything is going and everyone has settled in everything will go back to normal. As I am sure Junior will want it to be no different for him then the other team mates he will have in the 08 season.

I say Earnhardt right now, but the thing we have to recognize is that Gordon looks to be in the process of accepting who he is. He is a Legendary driver, who is showing he can still completely dominate the Cup, and he needs to let that come through in is ego more, like Dale would have. I say by the time he wins the Cup this year, he will have developed The Intimidator ego, and once he Thinks like Dale, he will be unstoppable.

I'd say Gordon, Robby is a way better driver than Kerry. Kerry doesn't even race in cup any more.
