It will be 5 years this December. We've been living together for the past 3 1/2 years.

I'm in one and I've noticed that you'll have a lot of trouble and to stay in that long term relationship you have to stick with it and go through it to the end. You have to make sacrifices just to make them smile and that's all you really want from them, maybe a little kiss and a hug here and there but it just makes you want to do much more...
I've been in a relationship for a 1 year and 3 months but it feels much longer..

almost four years in a long term relationship. What I've figured out is that there is no one I'd rather spend time with but at the same time, it's okay for us to spend time with our friends and not feel guilty.

i was! and one thing ive found out...you should ask your bf to get married bec as far as i know no long term relationship ended up in marriage...it always ends up on a break up
