Can someone pray for me? Just that I find my place and do something for God. And become less selfish. And find out what I'm passionate about or that God gives me something to care about to do with my life. I'm sinking here and I don't know how to go forward. Thnx

Ohhhhhhhh. ( I say in a groaning manner!)

I know what you are doing! What you are going through.

Let me tell you what I did. Go for drives, with no one else, alone, without anyone around. Take you cell phone but turn it off. Go somewhere else. Where there is quiet, or just keep driving. Turn off the radio/CD/ whatever.

I am writing in this manner so that you can pause and picture each action. Tell God what you are telling us. Tell him about how you want to really know what he wants from you. You are basically telling him that this is personal, and I have been persuaded that He likes that, He appreciates that.

Stop everything when you are at home, pray in the shower. Take long showers; they cover up any noise from your mouth and the water can be symbollically spiritual.

This you know: You are His.
But your spirit is already calling out to Him, you know that, otherwise there would be the typical rushing around to fulfill you daily schedule, and no desire to separte yourself for His service. And you can be pretty sure that whatever you are normally doing isn't sitting right with you, and it goes deep. So deep that you see the other Christians as being busy, but only through their traditional thinking. You are different from them. That's why you are going through this.

I will tell you another thing; God has already made the choice for you, but He wants you to tune into Him, the God station that you are listening to seems to be static, not quite fine tuned. So fine tune it better than it is.

And when no one else is at home turn everything off. Maintain silence. Listen to quiet and listen for His voice, especially when you don't know what to say to Him, because :
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Tune into that. Tapping into that gets us aligned with what's going on inside us.

If you find out like I did, you will eventually find yourself doing what He wants you to do. It will be a sudden spurring of inspiration, and not a mechanical doing of things.

Please e-mail me if you want. I would be so glad that all these words are something to someone. Notice how I did not direct you to a certain thing. After all, I have no idea what God wants you to do. But I know someone who does! lol

Peace to you, and the prayer is done by the way. ( :

God does not need you to do anything for Him, but your purpose is to let His light shine into the world. You are a living, breathing testament to His ability. You are in contact with Him and can commune with Him at any time, in fact, at all times. Psalm 4 gives the method, and getting still, turning off the thoughts of your mind and all the impulses to the nerves is the way to tune in to the Divine Mind. You must listen to be able to hear. The first time you achieve this peace it may be a bit startling, so be prepared and don't panic, and above all, don't give up.
What are you good at? What do you enjoy? If you don't know, ask your family, friends and coworkers, and listen carefully to what they say, but don't judge their responses. Maybe you're blind to some of your greatest talents, maybe.
Make a list of what you come up with, and pick from that. Then do the meditation and see what you get. Have fun, stay open, and may you recieve the deliverance you seek!

Here is your place and what you can do for God-
Your place is to be listening to God and obeying him. You do this by regularly attending meetings where you learn about him and Jesus. (Hebrews 10:23-25)
God also commands his servants to share what they learn from the Bible and make disciples. Doing this will make you very unselfish because you are caring for others, thinking of them and not yourself (Matthew 28:19, 20)
Have you committed a sin you think is so big it can't be forgiven? Read Isaiah 55:7
Has something unfortunate happened to you? Go to God in prayer and tell him about it. Have faith that he hears you and will help you through it. (Psalms 145:18, 19); (Philippians 4:6, 7) You will find more help from the sources I will list. At the website, you can do a search and find answers.

You do have a purpoe. A high purpose. You, me,and the rest of the family of God are the only creatures made "in the image of God." We were made to love God and to have continual fellowship with Him. He loves you that much that He desires to be with you all the time. I don't believe we can honestly say that we feel that way about anyone we love. Down- time is needed sometimes. I have wrestled with the Lord through my walk about my purpose in Him. Why the doors weren't opening when " I " thought they should. But God knocked me down a few notches when He reminded me, " Indeed, it is My purpose, not yours. I'm more interested in that you rest in Me with your whole heart than being concerned about doing something for Me." So, rest I do. And it's amazing, now I don't have to look for a door to open because it just does. May the Lord bless you, and yes a prayer has already gone up for you.

Yes, I'll pray that you find direction, and become more like Him each day. And that your purpose He has for you be fulfilled, and that you'll be encouraged while you're doing things for Him. I pray that you'll be encouraged even now, and always look to Him for guidance, joy, peace, love...even when you don't understand whats going on around you.

Remember Jeremiah 29:11-14
11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12 Then shall you call upon me, an ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you..."

So God bless you and keep you, and lead you into all truths...
Amen

There's a saying I'm sure you've heard...

"God helps those who help themselves."

Why take the lazy way out? Sheesh!
Not only are you not praying for yourself, and seeking those answers from God on your own, but you are asking OTHERS to do it for you!
God gave you a brain. You need to use it. Think. Think about your life, your short term goals, your long term goals.
Think about what you want to do FOR people you love and society in general. Think about what you want back from the world around you.... Think. Use God's gift of intelligence and make him proud....

"Dear Father in Heaven.......I pray right now for this young person who needs help. I ask You, Father, to reveal Yourself to her.....to draw her to Yourself.....to give her strong direction in her life. We know You have a plan for her life. Father, I ask You to show this lovely person that Jesus died to save her in this world and in the next. I pray that she will read a Bible daily, and seek out Christian friends. Give her the love and grace to invite the Lord Jesus into her heart, and become transformed. Have mercy on her...........give her the free gift of eternal life in the future, and peace and joy here in this life. Thank You, Father..meet all her needs. Amen"

Will remember you in my prayers?

Just go to a Local Church, perhaps the Blessed Sacrament, and tell Jesus your worries. He'll definitely help you out.

Say the Divine Mercy Rosary @ 3:00.
