My puppy (toy poodle 3 months) is getting hiccups, I know thats normal, but shes also whining and crying at every single hiccup. All she does is lay down and whine/cry while having hiccups. Every now and then she would cry very loud for like a few seconds and move positions. I was wondering is something wrong or... is she just scared cause this is the first time she has hiccups? Thanks !

I'd bring her to the Emergency Vet ASAP. It sounds like there may be an obstruction that is causing her much pain and discomfort and could be the reason why she is trying to throw up and can't. She needs to be seen by a vet today. Waiting can only cause more pain and trauma and nobody want's their dog in pain. I hope everything turns out alright for your dog. Keep me posted on how everything goes. Good luck

Does the puppy eat regularly and keep the food in? How often does she get hiccups! It could just be that the "flap" that controls and regulates food is underdeveloped, just keep a very good eye on her, if it is her digestive system you will have to take her to be examined! She sounds so cute, I have a toy poodle myself, I promise you, she'll bring you countless times of joy!

I have no idea if there's something else wrong, but I would go pick her up and start petting her and loving on her so her hiccups will stop. That's all I ever had to do to stop my dogs hiccups.

call the emergency vet and ask them. but make sure you get all your information first could be something if your mom noticed something you didn't.
they should be able to tell you if your pup needs to go in.
Good luck.
