sore throat, chronic cough. not in the lungs. cough started a day ago and voice is going. been giving her juice and meds, rubs...not helping.

Hot showers, the steam loosens the mucus, vicks vapor rub also helps, then get him/her to a doctor

Vitamin C (Orange Juice).
Take the child out to play a sport and have him run around and drink plenty of water.
Apply warm compress to Neck Area especially if cough is accompanied by Sputum.
And see a doctor. Ear Nose and Throat Doctor.(Thats one person)
Or a Pediatrician.
