This is my question do christians hate catholics more than any other group of christianity. Because just about everything I was taught is considered wrong to most christian. On yahoo's answers I have seen answers to that were no were near close to a catholics point of view. The catholics or at least what I was taught the bible is a guide line to help us live better lives and treat one another as we would wanna be treated. But to take the bible for excact words seems a little crazy. While majority christians take bible to heart.

CHRISTIANS (read Protestants - read Baptists) DO NOT
HATE CATHOLICS.

We do not agree with the Catholic Church on a number of points but we do not try to force our beliefs on them.

As for taking the Bible to heart, we do. We believe as David did when he wrote Psalm 119 : 11, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." We believe that word is the Bible (the Word of God).

Bob Jr, Dude it is all about Jesus Christ, that is the bottem line ! Catholics and christians are one and the same. In heaven we will all be true believers. That is what I call myself. People of the Catholic faith are also true believers. Many proclained Christians are but many fall short of walking the walk !

I'm a former Catholic turned UCC Christian. I have no beef with Catholics for the most part but I do have a HUGE problem with Mormons.

Catholics are Christians, I think you are meaning to ask about Protestants vs Catholics.

Catholicism is a branch of Christianity. While each viewpoint of the bible changes from group to group, it also changes from individual to individual.
