God created everything in 6 days. On the seventh day he rested. Sunday is the FIRST day of the week, making Saturday the seventh day. Look at the calender. The days of the week have remained the same throughout history.
People go to church on Sunday because in the 14th century the Church changed it to try to get get some heathens to go to church. They would not until it was changed because they worshiped their idols on Saturday. After that it just stuck that way.

There are a lot of denomination that observe the Biblical Sabbath (Saturday).

Seventh Day Adventists (that is the church I attend)

Seventh Day Baptists

Church of God Seventh Day

etc...

The Catholic church change the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday (they admit to it, it is part of their doctrine).

God blessed the seventh day (Saturday) from the Garden of Eden, even in the grave. He was buried on Friday and rose from the dead on Sunday..resting on the Sabbath.

If it is important enough for God to include in the 10 Commandments, I think it must be a pretty important issue with Him.

I find it odd how we choose to forget the one commandment that starts "Remember"...

God bless!!

Because it is the original holy day of the lord to worship. It represent the sabbath which is saturday. One of the ten commandents says to remember this day. You sin against one of the commandents you are guilty of them all. So this is the reason some people go to church on Sat.

B/c its God holy day (fourth commandment ). I Use to go to church on Sunday until I found out the truth about the Sabbath. Hopefully more and more people find out about the truth about the lord's Sabbath and not be fooled anymore in considering Sunday the holy day!

Depends on their religion!!!
I'm Catholic - my curch offers both Saturday night AND Sunday morning services.
I go to the one that fits my schedule for that weekend!

Some churches only have Saturday services b/c Sunday is their day of rest.

The religion of the Bible had God resting on the 7th day after creation and He specified that as being the day of worship. It was called the sabath day in which no one was to work or to travel more than 1/2 mile from home. At the death of Christ, He specified that the Christian religion was to observe the first day of the week as the day of worship. Some religions still observe the sabath day, some go for the first day of the week. Some who dont understand think Sunday is the sabath but it is not.
