oh, for sure you should get a tattoo of a bowl of soup on your left shoulderblade.
seriously, what kind of question is that? why would you ask a bunch of strangers what and where to get tattooed on your body FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE???? that is just ridiculous.

If you don't know where to get it or what you want you need to step back. Take at look at your reasons for wanting a tattoo. I had my design for my 1st tat picked out for over a year before I got it done. This is not a hairstyle that will grow out it is a piece of PERMANENT art on your body and you need to be sure before you do it.
Take the time to look at different pieces, buy temporary tattoos that are similar to what you think you might like and wear them awhile. See what kinds of reactions you get from employers and co-workers, friends and family. I think the best bet for anyone is to try and keep their tattoos in areas that are easy to cover.
Don't get a tattoo because you think it's "cool" or because your friends are doing it. Once you get one there's no going back.

If you aren't sure what to get or where to get it then I would say wait. I got a tattoo and I love it, but I knew what I wanted when I went in. I have some friends who got a tattoo because "everyone was getting one". They aren't happy now. I would also say if you are going to get one make sure it is somewhere that can easily be covered. Not all employers think tattoos are nice. Hope this helps and good luck.

Thats a very personal question that really only you can answer. The answer depends on a variety of things.... do you work? Will it show? Do you want it to show at work?
My first tattoo that I got was on my back, upper left shoulder blade area, that way it was only visible when I wanted it to be. However as years progressed I have gotten them on my wrist, leg and upper right arm/shoulder.
So... this is something you need to think about as far as what you want, thats VERY personal in my opinion and as for where.... only you can really decide that one because its a permanent decision!

If you don't even have a clue what you want, that means you shouldn't get tattooed yet.
Wait until you find something that means something with you. Getting tattoos isn't like changing your clothes. You can never take it off.
Do you really want to rush into a decision like that? Would your rush into marriage? Or elective surgery?

its where you want to put it. would you want ppl to see it? if so i say somewhere where its not covered up all the time lower arm but you have to think some job places look down on tattoos that show all the time. and what you want to get is also up to you. get something that resembles you ex. if you like dolphins or hearts just find something unique that you like. good luck.

i wouldnt do a tattoo on your foot unless you have a really high pain tolerence. the closer to the bone you get the tattoo the more it will hurt.
try a tribal tattoo on your lower back, my older sis got that done and she loves it. she said it actually didnt hurt that much on her lower back getting it done. hope this helped and best of luck ^_^ (i put a few links to pics of different tribal tattoos if you want ideas)
