Is it right for people to answer to questions without even understanding them?

I raised a question under the religion and spirituality section based on the information in the bible and Genesis , the first book of Mosses .Accoding to the report in the bible God had made the man first and directly and the womwn later from the last rib of the chest of man.My question was when did God start talking -before or after the creation of man ..Some body answered stating "why not woman . you are a sexiest pig." when god himdself has made man first and Mosses himself has referred to man first , how would the question be relating to woman..The person, being a christian , like all cristians had no idea of the bible , perhaps The person should have called Mosses or her God as the sexiest pig and not me.I reported the person for abuse. Am I right ?

Actually there are TWO creation stories in Bereshit (Genesis). In the first one, both people are created at the same time and both in G-d's image. It's the second one where the woman is created from the man's rib.

Since you overlooked that wee matter, you can't blame it all on G-d. So that person does have a bit of a point, however insultingly s/he choose to deliver it. In reporting the answer, you completely overlook any validity the criticism might have.

You are right. I too am a victim of abuses because I ask inconvenient questions. One even said I belonged to a nation of idiots. I just ignored it as an instance of poor parenting. No one has the right to abuse. When I put questions on T V vulgarity they advised me to switch it off. If a question cannot be answered they should leave it. Whenever I come across abusive answers I report to Yahoo! Answers and they thank me and remove it. You did right in reporting it as an abuse. Please do it in other cases too as I do it. The good and bad exist. Ignore the bad and pursue good forever. The points should definitely be on merits and not on numbers. Irrelevant and abusive answers take some charm out of the great Yahoo! I agree with you. Good that you reported him. something similar happened with me-I posed a ques according to which Shiva and Vishnu are one ie God is one.I did that because I noticed that hose who call themselves "Vaishnavas" on yahoo call Shiva a demigod and a Vaishnava only and they call his philosophy-"maaya vaadi and wrong".I meant that God is one and the different paths are all laid by him so they should be respected.
The so called Vaishnavas didnt even try to understand the question and said that I was envious,I was fighting with them,I am a fanatic, ignorant,away from shaastras ,angry blah blah blah....
hardly two three peopl understood my question rest abused me and right away argued and discarded lord Sankara's leela that I had mentioned.
Another ISKCON follower asked a question and when i participated in it they(three of them) argued with me that only thier Guru is "bonafide", I am a "potential devotee" hence I should follow ISKCON'S philosophy otherwise I wont be a devotee and that all avtaaras except those mentioned in Srimadbhagvatam and Chaitanya adi lila were alone true and there are no avtaaras besides that and I didnt know the truth so I should read chaitanya adi lila otherwise I will remain "cheated" and "ignorant". MEAN . ISNT IT? now according to the truth there is no scripture(atleast in my knowledge) that mentions alllll avtaaras but just to show themselves and thier organisation superior they spoke against my God and Guru when infact they didnt even knew what Chaitanya adi lila or other scriptures say about mention of avtaaras. all lies just to force thier fanaticism upon me.
Both in case one and two I was hurt and abused for only speaking the right and true thing by those who neither understood my questions nor wanted to understand my answers.

My question to you is - - - What's the difference ? You put yourself in position to get some unflattering answers by asking questions that you shouldn't have asked. If you have questions about the bible, simply read the bible. Asking stuff that can't be understood will bring in some insulting replies.

I digress, people tend to pick and choose words from phrases and sentence that they want to hear. I do it all the time, and so do you. If anyone has ever quoted a bible verse, then they are guilty of this as well.
