Revelation 2:17
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Does that mean a new name for individuals or the churches that would come? Some think that it is individuals. But I think that this is telling in the answering of your question:
Luke 10:20
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

And then here:
Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Revelation 21:27
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

So yes, he has us written in the Book of Life; we are those that trust him. Only those who trust God through Jesus Christ are written in that Book.

I'm not sure, but considering He knew us before we are born ...

Scripture also tells us that He knows the number of hairs on our heads, that we cannot hide from Him, and that He hears our thoughts. God knows you in an unspeakably intimate way. He forgives you; He listens to you; He has a future for you. And - most marvelously - He delights in you. Yeah ... He probably knew our name too!

Those that are His will be given new names, which more than likely is known to Him already. So, yes.

Maybe, but I think He'll let us choose how we want to call ourselves. After all we have the freedom to choose.
