Life is easier to enjoy as an atheist than as a god-believer...

It's truly a pleasure to see and know the truth of ones own limitations - we are born, we live and we die. It's such a very, very simplistic philosophy to accept that it lifts all worry and doubt over what ones purpose in living ought to include.

For me, knowing and accepting the limitations of my life gives me cause to celebrate what I have while I still have it and to build for the future of those lives who will outlast me .... I'm here to create my own Eden and to share it unconditionally with everyone I encounter. ....and isn't that the most head-kickin' attitude you've encountered this week?

Can I be open to supernatural creation...? I can if you supply accurate, reliable and verifiable evidence. Do that and there's no doubt that I could accept it. Until then, however, the idea is just an idea... albeit, a rather laughable and unlikely one.

Great question... You get a star and a thumbs-up.

LIFE IS GREAT

I'm doing great, going to pass my final exams, going to go to university this October, meet new people, learn more about the biochemistry of life, become a great research scientist and benefit mankind in anyway possible.

My friends and family are supportive, I have no finacial problems, I am not weighed down by any religious commitments or hindered by my beliefs.

As they say life is like a box of chocolates, the path you pick is your choice, life is exciting, inspiring and unpredictable, just the way I like it.

Atheism is not a chain or shackle, it is free and uplifting, my fate is my own, my thoughts are my own, life is my own.

I am open to supernatural creation, if you can supply concrete, accurate, reliable and physical evidence, I will accept it no questions asked.

For now I'm just gonna sit here on my deckchair, drinking ice cold beer in the summer sunshine...life is good...

Why do you care?(I'm not atheist, got my own religion). It's a choice that someone makes. It's just rational thinking. The thought that there's a big person up there might just seem silly to some. You know, they've come to terms with the idea that the candle just goes out when you die. That's all.

I live my life to the best of my ability knowing that I don't have to waste time preparing for the next one.

As an example, I have so far put over 2,000 Sundays to more constructive use than spending it in church.

We are born, we live, we die. We are no different to any other living thing on the planet in this and many other respects and to believe any different is little more than delusional conceit.

Knowing that this life is everything sure makes life precious, doesn't it?

I'm open to the possibility of something supernatural, but so far haven't seen any sign of such a thing. Neither has anyone else, apparently.

I don't know anyone who is in any big hurry to die. Life must offer something, or it wouldn't be valued as highly as it is.

To paraphrase Douglas Adams, isn't it enough to see that the garden is beautiful without having to believe there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

Life is what you make of it. There is no god, there is no after-life. That is just your own arrogance asserting that you are so special, you must continue on after death.

Well, you don't.

And no, I am not open to the possibiltiy of supernatural creation. That is just nonsense.

I feel good about helping others without an alternative motive of trying to get into a mythical heaven.

I enjoy this life, and when it is over, I will have lived it well (for me and others).

I love experiencing this amazing world in an honest way.

It allows me to enjoy this life, knowing that it's the only one that I will have. If I saw ANY evidence of supernatural creation, I would be more than open to it. Until then, I am content to be your friendly, neighborhood atheist. Best wishes. Kathryn

Life is lovely knowing that this universe offers all that we need.

I have yet to be shown any evidence of the supernatural, and what's more, I suggest that neither have you.
