My deviled eggs get rave reviews, so does my 7-layer salad. The eggs are the basic Betty Crocker recipe, and the salad is more like 12 layers when I get done, and I make more dressing for it than it says to.

My deviled eggs. Coleslaw ( I use the clone KFC recipe) and Scotcharoos.
Scotcheroos
1 cup sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
1 1/2 cup peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispies
1/2 bag of chocolate chips
1/2 bag of butterscotch chips
Mix sugar and white syrup and bring mixture to a boil.
Blend in peanut butter.
Blend in rice crispies.
Spread into 13" by 9" buttered pan. Smooth out top, let cool
Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips (I use a small sauce pan over low heat)
Spread melted mixture over ingredients in pan.
Let cool until chocolate has hardened

My broccoli salad and my pea salad are always favorites. The broccoli salad is fresh broccoli florets, crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, toasted slivered almonds, grated cheddar cheese and dried cranberries. Make a dressing out of mayo, red wine vinegar, sugar and black pepper (just mix to taste.) Toss with dressing immediately prior to serving. For the pea salad, use a bag of tiny frozen sweet peas, thawed, of course, ranch dressing, crumbled bacon, and chopped sweet onion. Just mix well and serve. Canned English peas will not work in this recipe. I always make my Ranch dressing with the Hidden Valley buttermilk mix.
