Apple Milkshake you blend as much as you like to get the thickness you desire.

Technically, a milkshake is milk that is shaken.

What you're wanting is a frappe. And you'll want to use really cold hard packed ice cream, and cold milk. Don't blend it too long as the friction will cause heat and melt the ice cream a bit causing a soupy drink. Also, you gotta find the right balance of blending and milk. Once you figure it out....you'll be a pro of 'No Straw' frappe making. :)

To make a lovely milkshake use full cream milk, chopped fresh bannanas (or strawberries) and dairy icecream, blend and enjoy, its much better than powder flavourings and its good for you, give it a go.

Did you mean ice or ice cream will certainly thicken it, mangos and bananas are good provided you have a blender, a hand blender is only £7 from Argos.

Bananas will thicken it a lot. You may need to experiment with you blender to get the consistency right. Nice though.

It is just a matter of how much milk you put in. The more icecream and less milk the thicker the milkshape.
