Yes I live about an hour away from you so that should answer your question and I have been threatened and seen our Americans stab and make sure someone was dead before leaving and your point? Did I say anything about violent people at all?

I thought about it and I think the low turnout at the march backs up my belief that the hate is done behind the anonymity of a computer screen. It is armchair warriors and nothing more.

You probably are seeing some hate (on both sides I might add) but the people have been requesting that our lawmakers stop this situation for a long time now and finally it comes to a boiling point and suddenly its hate?
I am always amazed when people do not remember the last 10 - 15 years of polls, voting and demanding that our government do something about illegal immigration that has fallen on deaf ears. You are seeing people who are fed up and demanding change and suddenly there is hate? Why because people have finally had enough? How is it ok for people to fly our flag upside down under another nations flag inside our own country, call Americans lazy and use phrases like "jobs that Americans won't do" and march in our own streets and demand amnesty and to be treated special, but when the American people say no, it is now going to stop - we suddenly hate? Where is your view of hate for the attack on the American people?

Yes hate leaks into our families and friends and I have seen much hate and name calling on both sides and it is very childish to call people names for example "lazy bums" ^^^^^ (see post above) but we all do not fall into that category.
Metro900...... I was at the march for 2 days and I thought it was a great turn out for the very first time it was held. You need to remember that the march you attended has been organized for a while now and is therefore more established and is probably responsible for much of this hatred that we now see. The march you attended was also organized by some huge and powerful organizations which had both money and the media in their pockets, this march was organized by two women who have no major affiliations and very little money was used in fact the stage was built by one of the women and her sons, in other words it is a grass roots movement.

Are you trying to say it is alright to have illegal immigrants to the US? Now I do not hate them but I don't think they should be here unless they have legal papers. This whole business of amnesty as well as letting in illegals to the US is making a mockery to not only the justice department but the ones who got here through legal means and ones who worked hard years ago and still came here on legal means.
There is already a job shortage with the ones who are rightful citizens here and ones who have been a green card holder on legal means so by letting in the illegals just compounds the whole problem. Unless something is done, this situation can get out of control.
Now I have nothing against those who with to migrate to US for a better life but they should go through legal means. I have no hate towards the illegals just very much disappointment....

Yes, I think about the attitude I project to others, that of a law abiding AMERICAN citizen who is fed up with the inneffectivness of our current governmental bureaucracy when it comes to the issue of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION aka CRIMINAL TRESPASS across a sovereign nations borders.
This "lazy bum" is responsible for the apprehension, & deportation of at least 50 or more "Undocumented workers", also the prosecution of at least two major employers of "illegals".
I do not need to march through the streets to make a difference, I do my part. I am not finished either, while the problem exists, I will continue.

I went to the march Saturday - the turnout was horrible; there was no new coverage and (I agree) the average American is politically impotent (and not just about immigration policy)
BTW - Fox censored the event leader on Saturday morning's biz block. They deleted all references to the event. Is this normal? No, this is out of control.

Do you live in a border state?..I own a home in Houston and see first hand how illegals effect our society. My son is 15 and was stabbed and robbed by your beloved illegals,he was left for dead.I see the economic impact on the construction industry, companies who hire illegals can afford to under-bid legitimate contractors,I see our hospitals "the largest medical center in the country"clogged with illegals draining our resources with third world ailments Texas is over twice the national average in TB cases linked directly to Mexico. So I could give a rats *** about their families or friends feelings this is a epidemic not a witch hunt.

I spent 5 years in law enforcement. I don't give a flying f@#k at a rolling donut about the feelings of people who ignore our laws.
People who want to know what can be done about it. People who say the job is too big are lying through their teeth. The US Government had no problem rounding up anyone of Japanese decent during WWII. How did they know who was Japanese and who was Chinese, Korean, or Indonesian. They managed with a lot less capable info networks than we have today.

What's your point?
Additional: They aren't "different". You're making it sound like they have some physical abnormality or something. They are purposefully breaking the law of another country and placing people of that country at risk in doing so. Their family should be aware of how people don't appreciate this. Are you sympathetic to all people who break the law and harm others through doing so? So if someone were to rape you, then would you be saying "Oh, please be nice to him"?
Unless your attitude will apply to everything else, then you are being hypocritical in having it.

Did you ever stop to think about the attitude YOU portray to LEGAL IMMIGRANTS and their family, children, and friends by your blind support of illegal aliens??
Or do you only care about illegal aliens?? Obviously illegal aliens are in your agenda...no one else...not American citizens, not legal immigrants.....rather sad.

Then the governement should not be forcing all of this on the American people. Blame the greedy businesses that are demanding cheap labor. They're ruining America.
