plate number at the back of my car that there's like an expiration date on the right part of it that will expire in 10/2007, where will i go to renew it? should i go to the DMV myself or what? please help!

It's your tab and it means your license plate tabs/registration is expiring in October of 2007. You can pay your registration before that date, if you fail to pay by October 2007, your plates/tabs are invalid and you will be ticketed.

you bought the car with the plate? or the dealer issued a temp plate?

Either way, I think the dealer gave you a temporary registration card and/or sticker. Go back to the dealer. If they don't help you then call the DMV

Road tax some times are collected at county court house Not DMV. Your tags i guess it depends which state you live in. Texas the registration sticker is on the windshield

DMV will send you a renewal in the mail
