Vegemite or marmite?

What is the difference between these two. Years ago a girlfriend forced a marmitte toast on me. It tasted like gas smells and this led to an argument because i thought she was f**+ing with me. Is vegimite just as wonderfull?

Both are absolutely disgusting! ICK!. However, if you eat crayons, you might find either a tasty change, lol.
