I have an APEX 27" flat screen television. I have had it for some time now, but I never really noticed the problem until I got digital cable. The signal the tv is receiving is too large for the screen, so about an inch of the picture gets cut off all the way around the screen. Is there something I can do to adjust this manually?

All TVs overscan (stretch the picture beyond the visible screen by about 3%), but looks like your TV "overscans" more.

It is an easy fix if one can access the TV's service menu.
If it bugs you that much take the TV to a TV service shop; it should cost very little to fix.

See if maybe there is a zoom button on remote or tv. I know I have one on mine and if I press it, it will do the same thing.
