yesterday my boyfriend had plans to go out with friends, when the plans were cancelled i asked him to take me out but he gave me tons of excuses..later that evening his friends called to say the plans were back on track. Suddenly all his excuses dissapeared and he was eager to go. I was sooo angry so he said i could come with them, but it was him and all the guys so i said i want to go somewhere else. Then he got upset and just said "im going" and left. He says i was wrong, was i?

The situation could go both ways.
You could have been wrong because maybe he was hoping for that one night out with the guys, and he was thinking that maybe the guys would change their minds and if he was out with you, then he couldn't have ditched you for them...Do ya'll see each other practically every day? Frankly, no offense, but he just may have wanted a day away.
Then again,
He could have been wrong too. Maybe it was his fault, he had all of those excuses...but then the guys wanted to go out and all of them dropped. That was wrong on his behalf, in some ways. Just chill out and give him a little space. no guy wants to be hounded.

well, it depends on how much time you two spend together. if you're together all the time , then maybe he just wanted some time with the guys. and then when his friends called to keep the plans he probley thought about what he had done ( making excuses to you about not going w/ you), and he felt bad and knew you wanted to spen time so he invited you along. and then he got his feelings hurt when you didn't want to come and spend time with him. guys are weird like that. they don't look at the big picture in a situation/ argument/ confrontation. as to where girls , we tend to overanylize everything. and thats where we go wrong. most guys don't have as complex of thinking patterns as we do. when we think there is a serious problem andd we're close to break up, they are looking at the sky daydreaming and thinking everything is fine and can't understand why were upset. just don't overanalyze the situation. you are together and thats what matters. its healthy for both of you to spend time with same sex friends.

I can see how you kinda felt hurt when he made excuses for you but not for his guy friends.. honestly.. it sounds like hes a big overwhelmed and tired of hanging out with you and needs a break to just "be one of the guys"
I really hate games but what id do is just kinda be distant a few days.. he cant miss you until he has a chance too you know? And dont make plans with him.. wait until he makes plans...
after you do this a couple days and he has a little breather.. hopefully you will be ok. Try to let him have guys nights sometimes though ..

yeah, pretty much. he already had his mind set on going out without you, and not only did you force your way in, you ruined the night all together. i'm not saying that he thinks that you are horrible to be with or anything... i'm sure he loves you and loves being with you. but, sometimes it's good to get away from your significant other. everyone needs a break once in a while.

i know exactly what you mean. im with my boyfriend ALL the time, and oftentimes he will "ditch" me, sort of, for his friends. its hard for me to handle but the truth is, he just wants his guy time. the excuses vanished becuase he WANTED to hang out with his friends and nothing was going to stop him. maybe he didnt want to tell you, but he just felt like having a night off from seeing you. sometimes me and my boyfriend get like that. you just need to get away!! its nothing you did, and he didnt do anything wrong ethier. please dont get into a fight over him going out with his friends...he just felt like getting out. its useless to argue over this, whats done is done, you just need to go out and have a fun time too. dont worry hunny...the shoe will be on the other foot someday, and he will be the one there left scratching his head.

It's ok to be upset at him. From what it sounds like he was choosing his friends over you an he was acting very shady so I think you should give a break from you, don't talk to him for a while an see if he changes.

He probably was upset his friends cancelled and he was really looking forward to it. I would not sweat the small stuff. Pick and choose your battles.
