Entrapment?. How about a sting operation. I honestly don't believe that you would feel bad about a Principal being arrested after buying drugs at school from an undercover Police Officer.

It's a sad world when people like you are more concerned about police methods then the fact that a school principal taking care of OUR kids is a cocaine user.

So what you're saying is, the police should just let a school prinicipal keep buying coke and not get him off the street.
Nice.
And Ghoodi, CGIV76 might be retired, but it is easy to tell that he still knows more about the law than you do.

As far as I understand it this would not be considered entrapment. The principle would have the choice of refusing to purchase and turn in the people he thought were drug dealers or enter into a criminal transaction by purchasing the drugs, he chose the latter.
I believe that to use entrapment as a defense you have to prove that the accused did not have a prior disposition towards committing the crime and was somehow forced or coerced into by the police.

Entrapment means that you get someone to do something they wouldn't normally do.
He was already buying coke when he bought it from the undercover officers. He deserves to be in prison.

I am all in favour of entrapment if it gets the drug buyers off the streets and into prison, the buyer is commiting an offence and they know it so therefore no sympathy extended to a person who should know better.

Entrapment?
So I take it he was coerced into purchasing the stuff that he otherwise would not have...right? If so, that's entrapment.
