I would suggest you to go for civil engineering. While completing the degree in civil engineering, you will be eligible for registration as professional civil engineers. You can later upgrade yourself towards architecture if the need be or if you are really interest in this field.

The globalised world in which we are actually living is faced by several challenges and there is a growing need for professionals with multi-disciplinary skills.

Thus with a degree in civil engineering and coupled with knowledge in architecture, you are sure to have a brillant career.

Good luck and the decision you take is always the right decision whatever it may be!

If you have artistic tendencies, architecture will be a good choice. If that is not the case, go for degree in civil engineering.

Many colleges conduct a separate aptitude test for architecture. And in some colleges, it takes one extra year compared to the engineering degree.
