I think because most people don't go to work, the TV schedule is different and people are generally just more laid-back

sure definately! continuously had an exceedingly cool Saturday watching Philip Scholfield on Going stay and then quiet down for Ski Sunday and a yummy Sunday tea day after today! Arrhhh. Rose tinted glasses! nevertheless get the same calm down feeling on a Sunday even though it has replaced slightly - perhaps cos the shops weren'y open on Sundays as quickly as we've been little ones???

Sunday is the only day I have to myself - my husband goes out with friends and I stay home and do the week's washing, cut the grass, do the vacuuming (he won't have it done while he's home because he can't stand the noise), clean the windows, sweep the drive, wash the tiled floors, clean the car, etc., etc.,
Yes. It definitely feels different at the beginning; by the end I'm so tired I can't feel anything!

Christ says,

Jer 17:22 -
Do not bring a load out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your forefathers.rist says

Since Sunday is His day and most people do not work on Sundays, it is different. It is a day of rest and relaxation to renew the body and spirit. I think more people are listening to Him on Sundays, as well.

I think it's psychological, because we have it set in our minds that it's a day of rest. I love my sundays, i actually get to sit back and rest on that day.
